Yes, they can!

• The personal assistance of a paying disabled customer needing personal assistance can enter the rides and other attractions free of charge with the person they are assisting. A disabled person can prove their need for an assistant by showing their EU disability card (with an A marking for the need for personal assistance) or with another document or statement. The park can also grant an assistant permit for disabled people in need of assistance on a discretionary basis.
• The prerequisite for the assistant permit is that the person requiring assistance has paid for their entry ticket, wristband or another ticket product. The assistant permit can usually be granted to just one of the assisted person’s assistants.
• The assistant must be at least 18 years old in most cases. A minor can also act as an assistant on a discretionary basis. However, the assistant must actually be able to act as the disabled person’s assistant.
• An assistant to a person with a disability card will be issued a free wristband if the cardholder buys themselves a wristband.

Yes, it is! Parking spaces at the amusement park are free of charge, and plenty of parking spaces are available. You can also find plenty of free parking spaces near Tykkimäki Aquapark.

Yes, it is! We have reserved parking spaces for customers with mobility issues in the immediate vicinity of the entrance.

Yes, you can! The amusement park, Aquapark and Tykkimäki Resort are easily accessible by bus during the summer. Bus routes 12T and 8 operate from the city centre to Tykkimäki. You can view their schedules in the local transport service’s route planner. Printed bus schedules are also available in Kouvola’s libraries, for example.

Yes, it is! Aquapark’s main entrance is at Käyrälampentie 20, where there is plenty of parking space nearby. You can easily reach Aquapark and Tykkimäki Resort by walking straight through the amusement park area. Please note that on concert evenings the lower gates of the amusement park are closed.

Yes, it is! There are four charging points for electric vehicles in the parking area of Tykkimäki amusement park. The KSSe charging service allows an electric car to be charged at any public charging points marked with a KSSe or Virta label.  Hundreds of these charging points are available around Finland, and thousands in Europe. Most of the most common payment methods are accepted at the amusement park, including Visa, Visa Electron, Eurocard, Mastercard, Diners Club and cash. You can use debit and credit cards to pay at ticket booths, kiosks, restaurants and game stands. Please note that there are no ATMs in the amusement park area.

Aquapark and Actionpark wristbands can be purchased with various vouchers such as Smartum vouchers, ePassi and Edenred. Exercise and culture vouchers cannot be used to purchase amusement park wristbands.

Wristband products purchased from Tykkimäki’s online store will be delivered by email. Wristbands purchased from the online store are exchanged for wristbands at the amusement park. The wristbands can be picked up at the Online Tickets sales point in the amusement park area near the main gate.

Please note that loose wristbands cannot be given to customers. A Tykkimäki staff member must always attach the wristband to the customer’s wrist when providing the wristband. Aquapark’s wristbands can also be picked up at the water park’s ticket booths.

Yes, they are! All products and services are available every day, but the opening hours of sales points are limited on quiet days.

Yes, it is! Alcohol is served in Grilli, Hodari and Restaurant Raveliini. Aquapark serves alcohol at Lammenranta Kitchen & Bar. Drinking your own alcoholic beverages in the park area is forbidden. Tykkimäki Amusement Park is a smoke-free park. To ensure the greatest possible comfort in the amusement park, we ask that smokers use the smoking areas reserved for them.

Great question! Please take the following into account when you come to Tykkimäki to enjoy a fun day.

• The safety limits of all amusement park rides are based on guidelines set by the authorities and the equipment manufacturers.
• It is the ride staff’s duty to ensure the safety limits are carefully upheld. Please remember to follow their instructions.
• The rides’ safety limits are shown on the signboards next to the rides.
• Guardians for rides must be at least 15 years old.
• You must wear a shirt and shoes on the rides.
• No open-toed sandals or flip-flops are allowed on the Seikkailu courses. Sneakers or tennis shoes are suitable footwear, for example.
• The last adventurers of the day are accepted at Seikkailu 60 minutes before the park closes for the day.
• We are not liable for any bags or items left by the rides or for any damage that may occur to items taken onto the rides.

Weather may affect the operation of certain amusement park rides. The decision to close any rides always depends on the situation, and we strive to reopen the rides as soon as possible.

When pregnant, it is good to skip rides in Endeavour, Calypso, Loop Fighter, Star Flyer, Tromb and the Orient Express. If you suffer from heart defects, we also recommend to skip these devices.

Storage lockers

• Storage lockers are located right by the entrance. You need a one euro coin to use the locker. The coin will not be returned to you when you return the key or open the locker.

Trolleys

• The park has a limited number of trolleys. These can be borrowed free of charge. The trolleys need to be returned to the entrance, and taking them outside the park area is not allowed.

First aid

• If you need first aid, please contact the park staff. The park has a first aid room near the entrance, where you can get first aid equipment and band aids.

Baby care room

• There is a baby care room for changing nappies by the entrance. The room also has a microwave oven for customer use.

Don’t worry – everything will be fine!

• Report a missing child to the information desk. If you are lost, you can also contact the information desk for help.
• The ticket sales booths can give young children a name sticker on which you can write your contact information.

Yes! Dogs are welcome in the amusement park during normal opening hours, except in the Minimaatila petting zoo area.
(Private events may prohibit dogs from entering the area.) Any dogs must be on a lead and controlled by the owner.

Leaving pets in your car during your amusement park trip is prohibited!

All lost and found items should be delivered to the security guards. If you lose something, you can enquire after the items during the same day by contacting the security guards. If the items are unclaimed, they will be delivered to the Suomen Löytötavarapalvelu lost property service. tel. 0600 03390 (1,97 €/min+pvm).
